
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 cup walnuts or powdered sugar (optional)
Mix together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs; mix well. Add flour and baking powder; mix well.
Transfer into greased and floured 8 x 8 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35 minutes or until done (check center with toothpick).
